I am a journalism student at the Walter Cronkite school of
Journalism and Mass Communication.
My passion to work on the news started in the sixth grade, when all I did was the morning TV announcements and told my peers what the lunch specials were for the day.
In junior high, I continued to do the announcements through a P.A. system and felt a thrill knowing that the whole school was listening to me, and depending on me for information.
Upon arriving to my dream school, I was a reporter and features editor for the newspaper and a reporter/producer for the television production news program at my high school.
During my time at Cronkite I worked with The Outlier, a team that brings news to ASU students through internet streaming, Cronkite News – Phoenix Bureau, as well as internships outside the University.
When I am not working on homework in the First Amendment Forum or working on the most recent project, I enjoy watching Audrey Hepburn movies and practicing many forms of dance, particularly Latin-influenced such as Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba.
